Some things I currently (Jun 2024) do:
- I’m head of development at dxw, an agency working to improve digital public services
- I’m director and founder of the Space Skills Alliance, a think tank and consultancy addressing the skills issues in the UK space sector
Some things I used to do:
- I was a trustee of Citizens Advice Kensington & Chelsea, a local bureau of the national charity offering free, confidential, and impartial advice on a range of everyday issues
- I was a developer/sysadmin/digital handyman for CAST, a technology charity
- I helped run the Fair Education Alliance, a coalition of organisations working to end educational inequality
- I taught maths to 11-14 year-olds at School 21, a state school in East London
- I created SpaceCareers.uk, an early careers website and jobs board for the space sector
- I led UKSEDS, the national student space society
- I ran programming classes for kids at TuringLab, an ed-tech company
- I organised the UK Space Design Competition, an engineering challenge for school students
